 POPNONAME is the artistname of Jens-Uwe Beyer (* 1978 on Fehmarn). Now he lives in Cologne. Apart from his regular releases on KOMPAKT's Pop Ambient series, he has had a number of 12" on Cologne-based labels, among others FIRM and ITALIC. His debut album WHITE ALBUM (ITALIC) was released in 2007, and got loads of positive reviews from the German and international press. Currently being released is his new album SURROUNDED BY WEATHER ITALIC. He recently did two remixes for the German band "Klee" (Universal) following a couple of remixes and releases on different labels.
