智利死亡金属乐队，组建于1998年。\n \nPaul Callahan: Singer, Bass\nNikko Pagani: Drums, Berimbau\nVictor Mac-Namara: Lead Guitar, Bass, Keyboards\n \nThornafire began in 1998 with the unique idea of playing Death Metal. By that time the line-up was with César Acuña (vocals), David Liempi and Víctor Mac-Namara (guitars), Alexis Muñoz (bass and vocals), and Víctor Vergara (drums).\n \nAfter some line-up changes, in 2001 the MCD “Mortus Tenebrae Surrectus” was released, which received many good reviews from the local and international Metal media and with that, Thornafire became as one of the most promising Chilean extreme metal acts.\n \nWith Alexis Muñoz (bass and vocals), Eduardo Díaz (drums), Victor Mac-Namara and Germán Vazques (guitars), in the early 2003 a tour through the north of Chile and Bolivia was booked. As well many shows in Chile and in Argentina.\n \nIn the middle of 2005 the band record the debut LP “Exacerbated Gnostic Manifestation” , record that marks the debut in the band of our new drummer Juan Pablo Donoso, known for his brutal work with Sadism. This record will be a milestone in brutality, a masterpiece of hate.\n \nIbex Moon Records, the label created by INCANTATION mastermind John McEntee, has signed THORNAFIRE. The group's full-length debut, "Exacerbated Gnostic Manifestation", was released in April 2007 through RED Distribution.\n \nThornafire will enter the studio on February 2 , 2009 to record their sophomore album, "Vorex Deconstruction", due later in the year via for Ibex Moon Records. Two years in the works, the follow-up to "Exacerbated Gnostic Manifestation" is "sure to be another metal of death tour de force," according to a press release. "The act has captured the true spirit of a Southern American death metal style that worships at the altar of the ancient ones and takes it cues from the likes MORBID ANGEL, KRISIUN, (early) SEPULTURA, and PENTAGRAM (Chile), while putting its own unique spin on the genre."\n \nIn 2010 Thornafire has their first EUROPEAN TOUR, playing shows in Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland.\nIn 2011 Thornafire supports Slayer in Santiago de Chile.\n \nIn 2012 join Thornafire Ch. Argandoña as bassist-singer, releases "Eclipse Nox Coagula" and has incredible shows being for 2nd time in europe, coming back to germany, poland, lituania, Cech republic.\n \nIn 2013, with just 24 years old, Nikko Pagani joins Thornafire for being the new drummer, taking the place of JP Donoso, who took the drumseat in PENTAGRAM (Chile).\n \nAfter 1 year and 6 months of rehearsals and recording in Sade Studio (Chile), THORNAFIRE will release their 5th Studio álbum "MAGNAA" under FDA rekotz (Germany), mastered and mixed in SOUNDLOGE Studios, Germany.
