The band’s name is the English translation of Cold Dew, one of the 24 solar terms in the traditional East Asian calendar. It reflects the band's musical aesthetic cold, damp, and introspective.\n\nRooted in the songwriting style of folk music, COLD DEW blends elements of noise, psychedelia, blues, post-punk, and slowcore. The vocal delivery draws inspiration from Mandarin and Taiwanese pop music of the 1970s and 1980s.
