The pre-album-EP „A Prologue“ already made it clear that something big was coming and with the release of their first full-length „Till Death Us Part“ Defy raised the bar within the local metal scene. Shows with stage-veterans Killswitch Engage, Soulfly, Nile and First Blood followed and the gig at Wacken Rocks South went down in the band’s history as some of the biggest highlights so far.\n \n„Come at me, Bro'!“\n \nIn 2013, after exchanging some of the band’s former members, Defy are stronger than ever before and about to finish their second album“GameChanger“ without betraying their former style – NBG-Shred at it’s finest and a slap in every stereotypical breakdown’s face. Defy aren’t reinventing the wheel, no one does that anymore. Being open for musical experiments and individual – if not Defy then who is?
