简介:
Born and bred in Berlin, I first moved to the UK 10 years ago with the idea to study and then return home. I fell in love with the island and the people (even the rain!), and I suppose the rest is history.\r\n \r\nAfter making music a hobby for most of my life in the last two years it has started to become more than that – hence the Album, hence the constant jitter in my head and heart, hence this feeling that I have at last started to come home!\r\n \r\nWhilst I love performing music from a whole host of different eras and genres the thrill of interpreting Jazz music is deeply rooted within me. I have had the privilege to share the stage on numerous occasions with great musicians such as Laurie Holloway and his Trio, Becki Biggins, Tina May, Kenny Lynch & Simon Colam.\r\n \r\nI was coached in my early teens by Jazz singer, composer and lyricist Cornelia Moore and her husband Jazz pianist Reggie Moore. They have shaped the way I approach music, listen to songs and their history and their composers and I am left forever grateful for what they have passed on to me.
