Thirdmoon are a Melodic death metal band from Austria.\n1994 was the year when longing for death became a new name:\nT H I R D M O O N\nWith the debut called â€œGrotesque Autumnal Weepings” recorded in 1997, a dark melancholic deathwish was released upon the world. The unique mix of melody, melancholy, aggression and beautiful accoustic parts composed by Mastermind Wolfgang Rothbauer, established Thirdmoon as a leading act in austrian metal.\nWith a new French member, Thirdmoon signed 1999 to napalm records and entered the studio in 1999 for the second album â€œAquis Submersus” which showed the band from a slower and darker edge with more groove and more variety of vocal and guitar arrangements.\nAfter lots of concerts, Thirdmoon entered the studio in 2000, to release the third album â€œBloodforsaken”. With more aggression, brutality, melody and melancholy, Thirdmoon was clearly drawn towards melodic death metal. The tour with the german act "Eisregen" followed and Thirdmoon showed a high-energy performance that impressed the audience and press.\n2001 Thirdmoon and "Napalm records" stopped their cooperations. Unfortunately it took three years before recording â€œSworn Enemy: Heaven”. The record turned out to be filled with more groove and straight-in-your-face brutal than the earlier albums - but still with the embracing of catchy melodic themes and beautiful â€“ emotional accoustic parts that represents Thirdmoon.\nIn january 05,with a new strong lineup, Thirdmoon hooked up with Grave (Sweden) and Disparaged (Switzerland) for the â€œFiendish Reggression Tour”. And prove again that their shows stay a great experience for all metal maniacs.\nNow, after playing on summer festivals Thirdmoon returned to work for new intense stuff for you!\nBand line up\nWolfgang Rothbauer: vocals, guitar (founder and head songwriter)\nMatias Larrede: guitar (French dude - member since â€œAquis Submersus”1998)\nDominik Sebastian: guitar (Responsible for neckbreaker-solos - officially since 2002)\nMartin Zeller: drums (Amazing drummer - member since October 2004)\nSimon Ã–ller: bass (Actually leadguitarist of the band â€œOlemus” - session member since January 2005)\n乐队网站 www.thirdmoon.at \n乐队成员 \nWolfgang Rothbauer + Vocals, Guitar \nDominik Sebastian + Guitar \nAlex Hinterberger + Guitar \nJohannes Jungreithmeier + Drums \nPhilipp Eckerstorfer + Bass
