简介:
Nick Green - Vocals\nDave Rosser - Guitar, Vocals\nBert Gay - Bass, Vocals\n\n\n来自\nLos Angeles, CA\n唱片公司\nNOISE ALCHEMY\n简介\nOriginating from the visceral depths of Los Angeles, NICKY DAVEY is certainly one of\nLA’s best kept secrets. Nick Green and Dave Rosser officially formed the project in\n2011. They started out just making records together under various aliases until they\ncarved a sound they could truly call their own. It was the countless hours in the studio\nthat ultimately gave birth to NICKY DAVEY. The passionate duo’s approach to\nsongwriting has always had a strong emphasis on beauty, combined with infectious\nhooks. Constantly striving to reinvent the modern pop song, they were given the\nopportunity to work with Odd Future affiliates, The Internet. In 2013, under the\nproduction of The Neptunes’ Chad Hugo, they helped pen their underground hit\n“Dontcha.”\nEarlier this year, Nick was in the studio with his good friend Syd and the electronic\nLondoners, Snakehips. Together they wrote the song “Gone” at Syd’s house in LA. The\ntrack features Syd and has undeniably been a favorite of Snakehip’s devoted fan base.\nThis led to Nick, the duo’s lead singer, getting asked to vocal produce and co-write on\nThe Internet’s Ego Death. The alternative soul record features collaborations from Janelle\nMonáe, Vic Mensa, and Tyler, The Creator. Both members collaborated on the record\nthat dropped this summer. It even reached as high as Number 9 on Billboard’s Top R&B\u002F\nHip Hop Albums chart.\nMost recently, the two studio rats worked feverishly to release their NICKY DAVEY - EP\non Noise Alchemy last August. Despite their unpredictable journey, NICKY DAVEY\ncrafted a sound that is astoundingly fresh and authentic. Above all, their debut EP will\ntake you on an epic excursion.\n
