The quartet earned some rapid attention for their relentless sound and transfixing rhythm section with their self-released debut demo in 2005. A split release with I Breathe Spears and With Scissors followed a year later. 2007 would find Chickenhawk fully ensconced in the studio, recording and producing tracks for what would end up being their debut full-length, God Helmet, which saw release in 2008 on Sound Devastation.\r\n
