Every decade or so, there comes a band that impacts the masses like no other; a group destined for greatness; a rock gang that expresses and embodies the youthful passion of a generation and ultimately becomes the catalyst for a musical revolution. Welcome the rise of CJ SLEEZ, the next-level band that is boldly and swiftly conquering the world of hard rock. Based in Toronto, CJ SLEEZ is fronted by famous riot-girl rockstar CJ and backed by a select group of todays hottest musicians, CJ SLEEZ is quickly gaining a loyal fanbase and generating a buzz echoed around the globe.\nCJ SLEEZ confidently and charismatically controls the stage with her legendary sex-appeal; she persistently attacks the set with raw passion, intense vitality and natural ease, claiming her throne as the Queen of raunchy rock n roll.\nCJ SLEEZ is clearly a band like no other. Created amidst and in response to a long procession of passive-aggressive, melancholic, shoe-gazing, so-called 'indie' acts sulking their way across North America, CJ SLEEZ shatters the mold of mediocre music. Their explosive yet controlled musical style is distinct and unique, commanding the attention and respect of both audiences and critics. All hail the Rock Action!\nCJ SLEEZ’ was originally formed in Hamilton by CJ, who re-located to Toronto in 2000. A Leo known for her individualism, creativity, enthusiasm, and disdain for anything weak-willed or lazy, CJ lists some of her musical influences as ‘GNR’, The Stooges, L7, Nirvana, The Sex Pistols, Faith No More and Motley Crue. Her all-time favorite song is ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ and suggests that ‘Natural Born Killers’ was the best movie ever made because it’s romantic, comedic, horrific and thought provoking with an amazing soundtrack. Her other interests include photography and painting and she considers her best traits to be her bold fearlessness, determination and ability to think big. CJ’s favorite quote is “Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today” by James Dean.\n \nErrol, a Virgo (meticulous, reliable, analytical and diligent) originally from Morden, Manitoba plays a Gibson Les Paul Standard gold top through a Marshal head and cabs. He boasts a broad range of musical influences, from Randy Rhoads, George Harrison and Neil Young to the Hellacopters, AD\u002FDC and Motorhead. He prefers the cool, dry air of autumn, the (non)-colour black because it goes with everything (just like him), and shares that 'the Shining' is his favorite movie. Errol's also a professionally trained chef. He considers his most prized traits to be his 'give it 'till it hurts then give more attitude, and his ability to (physically) take a hit, while disliking his own over-critical, perfectionist tendencies.\n \nGuitarist Stacy Stray (a confident and charismatic Leo), was born in the small town of Port Hope Ontario, although he's called Toronto home for many years. He plays a Gibson Les Paul through a Marshal Stack and is influenced by the classic tunes of KISS, Alice Cooper, Queen, T Rex, and David Bowie. His favorite song is Cold Ethel, "Cause she don't talk back", and his favorite colour is green. In addition to playing with CJ SLEEZ, Stacy is also a current member of the band DIE MANNEQUIN, as well as being an established beauty expert.\n \nBassist Norelle is a classic Gemini; smart, witty, talkative and energetic yet at times, argumentative and outspoken. In short, she's a punk rock girl through and through. She plays an Epiphone FlyingV through "whatever amp I can get my hands on" and got her musical roots from listening to bands like The Clash, Love and Rockets, The Sex Pistols, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, The Exploited and The Dead Kennedys. Norelle's favourite album is Raw Power by Iggy Pop, "Cause it lives up to the name and I don't get bored of it". Her greatest fear is being stung by bees and her favourite quote is, "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most." by Ozzy Osbourne.\n \nDrummer Danni Action was born and raised in the GTA and likes both DW and Sonor drums with Sabian cymbals. He's inspired by bands\u002Fmusicians such as the New York Dolls, the Stooges, Motorhead, Brian Downey, Buddy Rich, Skid Row and Martin Gore.
