"If you don't get The Update by JR&PH7 you are f!*#ing up, you are really f!*#ing up!" – Mayer Hawthorne\n"I usually don't get excited about a lot of new music these days, but JR&PH7's stuff excites the f*** out of me"\nJR\nJoerg "JR" Rottgardt, age 26, is currently studying "creative business processes" at the Business School of Copenhagen, Denmark.\nBesides producing, writing and arranging music since 2002 he has worked for several independent music labels in Germany and the U.S. in the past 5 years.\nBefore teaming up with PH7 in 2007, he has been a founding member of the German HipHop group Momentan which released several critically acclaimed international singles and albums.\nPH7\nPeter "PH7" Haerle, age 25, is currently studying electronic engineering at the University of Cologne, Germany.\nBefore moving to Cologne PH7 lived in Heidelberg where learned the art of beatmaking from the legendary german hiphop producers Stieber Twins.\nAfter moving to Cologne for his studies, the place where he also met JR in 2006, he has worked with numerous german major artists in the genres Hiphop, R'n' B and Electronica.\nToday, PH7 is considered one of Germany`s top young HipHop producers.
