Sapthuran is a one-man US Black Metal project from the state of Kentucky formed in 2004 by Patrick Hall. The music, while the artist admits is not groundbreaking, strives to uphold a pure Black Metal tradition infused with a strong independent flame and primordial spirit that sets itself apart from the modernity of today. While the recording techniques and the physical abilities of the artist have progressed since the project’s founding, the underlying themes and the style of the music are still quite identifiably Sapthuran. They have, in the opinion of the artist, simply grown more seasoned over time.
