A keen childhood interest in music led him to become a composer for film scores before he lived and worked as a monk in a South Indian monastery for five years. Upon his return, Paul blended his talents with his spirituality. Paul also created the Unitar, a ten-stringed instrument similar to a sitar, which he used on works likeBhava Yoga, Shakti Yoga, Nada Yoga and Shabda Yoga, all of which were released by the Relaxation Company.
