\nThe orchestra of the Rome Opera House, founded in 1880 as a part of Teatro Costanzi (Costanzi Theater). In 1928 the theater was renamed to Teatro Reale dell’Opera di Roma (The Royal Opera House of Rome). With the fall of the monarchy the opera got its current name in 1946.
