Little Buffalo is the ongoing collaboration between lyricist, songwriter and musician Eric Burkhart and a revolving assortment of musicians, artists, and social misfits. The songs reflect the sounds absorbed while growing up listening to American music in its many forms. Imagine a funky acoustic, alt country, folk rock, reggae-blues band who play original songs and you'll get the picture. You might call it Americana. Call it whatever you like.\nAfter playing solo and with various musicians around his home in the San Francisco Bay area for many years, Eric recorded his first album of song demos, "The Bedroom Tapes" in 2000 in his bedroom. Literally. Between the bed and the dresser. Over the next several years, he kept his day job and built a recording studio in what used to be the basement garage of his house with the help and guidance of his friends, especially bass player\u002Fsongwriter Frank Zincavage and audio engineer\u002Fstyle shaman Guy Lento.
