SONOFOLD Sonofold is the solo project of 28 year old South African born singer songwriter Nic Olsen. Nic's first commercial success came with Emo\u002FIndie\u002Frock band Perez who enjoyed huge chart success in South Africa between 2001 - 2003 with their debut album Picture Perfect . Subsequently a second self titled album has been released in South Africa to critical acclaim . www.myspace.com\u002Fpereztheband After moving from South Africa to Germany in 2003 Nic founded a new group called Don't Panic which was then renamed Go Panic! (Emo \u002F Rock) An Ep and a single were released in 2005 and then a full length album ( released only online) in 2008. www.myspace.com\u002Fgopanic In November 2007 Nic alias Sonofold began his solo career and by June of 2008 he had released two records , Change is how you feel , and 3% baby!!! with Little Teddy Recordings . Both were well received by critics in Germany with comparisons being made to artists like Rufus Wainwright , Elliot Smith, Nick Drake , The Kinks . Nic is now working solely on his solo career and is currently finishing off some "band versions" of tracks from 'Change is how you feel' and '3 % baby!!! ' as well as writing the much anticipated follow up album.
