Born several years ago as a solo-project by Marco G. Gardella (Tvmvlvs Seraphim, Sostrah Tinnitus), Tears of Othila is the voyage within the simplest yet deepest way of living. \nA way that reveres Nature and Ancestry and values Honor and Nobility. \nThis is our ancient heritage, the precious gift that the rune Othila reminds us of and that in today’s society is too often forgotten. \nAs the chant of tradition spread, other people became involved. \nIt was Davide Zalaffi the first one, playing keyboards and percussions. As a duo, we held some concerts in the woods. Just Nature and us...in a “gift for gift” tradition. \nLater on, Noemi Ferrari (flute), Enrico Defranchi (violin), Lorenzo Capello (percussions), Elena Nastasi (trumpet) and Marta Defranchi (voice, chorus) joined the project. \nIn 2006 this line-up recorded the first work from Tears Of Othila and it was called “Renaissance !”. \nWe really appreciate the efforts of everyone to support the rebirth of our ancient, natural values and Traditions. \nThank you!
