Nina Karlsson is the pianist, lyricist, musician, singer and the leader of the trio, formed in 2008. The musicians are Pavel Vovk (bass), Anton Novikov (drums), Konstantin Danilov (keyboards) and, not surprisingly, Nina Karlsson herself on vocals and piano. \nNina Karlsson is something special. It’s as if she has come to us from better times, when music wasn’t referred to — rather cynically — as ’showbiz,’ and there existed only art and adulation.
