Erisian Records.\n \nPhilosophy\u2028-\n \nThe world as we know it is going to end and this is the soundtrack.\n \nFar be it from us to preach and drone about the how society is decaying, instead we offer a solution. We choose to stand aside from the social conventions and laugh, all the while attaining the thrilling climax of emptiness. We embrace the subculture and explore the unrestrained expression that deviating from the status quo allows. Angst, anger and aggression are all part of the human condition, and yet these things are considered taboo. We wax poetic about the societal slavery that is thrust upon us with these archaic conventions and the wretched futility of connecting with another human being.\n \nLyrics-\n \nThe lyrics range from post apocalyptic metaphor to a dissertation of the current world view. They can also represent the exploration of deeper personal relationships. The songs range from moody and brooding to angry and aggressive, and draw upon a significant palate of musical styles.\n \nHistory\u2028-\n \nPseudosanct and Kimiko first started working together on music in 1998 when Kimiko joined forces with Emergence. After playing a series of endless crappy shows, Emergence got the honor of playing with EBM\u002FDarkwave power bands such as Faith and the Muse, VNV Nation, and Covenant. Soon after Emergence was contacted by Romell Regulacion from Razed in Black and he helped produce the first album ‘The Science of Suffering.’ In 2003 Emergence was picked up by Negative Gain Productions and TSOS (as it is affectionately known) was released alongside Cruciform Injection and Evil’s Toy side project Yavin4.\n \nIn 2004 Emergence released ‘ Eschaton’ and it was met with rave reviews and played in cities the band had never even heard of before.\n \nSadly in 2005 Emergence disbanded and half the band went on to form Darker Days Tomorrow with much of the same philosophy and influence as Emergence carried.\n \nImmediately after the formation of the band the album Zeitgiest was released in 2006. This album had a markedly harder edge than previous material composed by Pseudosanct.\n \nIn 2008, the band released Nothing. So far, the most critically acclaimed album to date, it has been played by DJs spanning the globe with an especially big following in Russia.\n \n2010 is going to be a groundbreaking year for DDT. We are back in the studio with new members, new angst and a new zeal for creation. The music that follows will be a reflection of the past few years of our existence. There have been moments of great triumph and joy, and moments of overwhelming hardship. We have emerged stronger and ready to assault your senses with hard hitting beats and some catchy grooves.
