Featuring Ivy Sheppard (fiddle,banjo, guitar, vocal), Grace Kennedy (banjo, triangle, vocal), and David Sheppard (guitar, vocal) their tight harmonies and exceptional instrumentation give The Broadcasters a powerful old-time sound. They have won blue ribbons at fiddler's conventions, and have taken standing ovations in hard core rock-n-roll venues. The South Carolina Broadcasters are one of those special bands that comes along every once in a while. All three members share a common vision and obsessive passion about the music they are playing.
