Edison Effect is an indie-synthpop band from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Inspired by bands like The Naked and famous and Depeche Mode they bring a dynamic wall of sound. The five piece band combines live drums and distorted guitars with raw synthesizers.\n\nAs former Conservatory of Utrecht students, Edison Effect wants to bring a new sound combing acoustic instruments, synthesizers and drumcomputers. The band keeps the entire production process in their own hand. The writing, producing, recording and mixing takes place in their own studio in Utrecht. The studio is an old TNT post facility of about 1300m2. The big hall, which in the past was the main sorting room, is now being used during recording for a colossal sound.
