 Spiral System is London duo Joe Crisp and Cliff Ovenden. After 10 years of collaborations and projects involving co-writing and producton ‘In Your Dreams’ is the first solo work resulting from our long standing musical partnership. Joe-percussionist and Cliff-guitarist play and record real instruments and fuse organic sounds with electronica. ‘In your Dreams’ has two main threads-strong composition and a dream like subtext. It also represents the huge diversity of musical forms that we are exposed to in our home town. Together with the London based musicians on the record and our diverse and sympathetic collaborators MC Precise and Lottie Child-Spiral System have made a musical exploration of dreamscapes and altered consciousness taking a bit of our world to everyone else’s.
