Nate White, At the tender age of 16, started playing Bass Guitar, he went on to work with the former Music Director (John Manuel) of the Motown Recording Act the “Spinners” In 1975 they formed a Soul\u002FJazz Group along with four other musicians. In 1976 they were discovered by Jazz Legend, Roy Ayers. Impressed with there unique sound they were invited to record an album that resulted in a recording contract with ABC Records. The Roy Ayers produced LP “Come Into Knowledge” featuring the re-make of Roy's hit “Everybody Loves The Sunshine”. The album charted on Billboard top 100 in 1977. The group achieved moderate success and found themselves as opening act for Kool & the Gang, Roy Ayers and Grover Washington Jr. With enternal issues at the record company the album never received the proper promotion which eventually led the band members to pursue other opportunities.. \nNate stayed extremely busy over the years producing, writing, arranging and performing. He has had the good fortune to work with many artists, including Michael Henderson, the Jazz Quartet “Gratitude”, George Johnson of the “Brothers Johnson” and Reggie Calloway former leader of “Midnight Star.” \nIn early 2005 Nate began recording songs for his first solo CD. The process was very personal. Producing, writing, arranging, performing and engineering on this 14 track masterpiece called “So Beautiful” released in the Summer of 2006 this CD features a blend of Comtemporary Jazz, Funk and Soul. There are so many stand out cuts on this CD that we refuse to highlight one over the other.\nNate has just completed producing his second album entitled “Thats The Way It Is” in November 2009 and is currently preparing to embark on a 10 city promotional tour, followed with a full blown World Tour beginning in the spring of 20\u002F10. \nUnited States
