The trio released its sole album, A-Town Hard Heads, at the dawn of the gangsta rap boom (1992) and did so on the Ichiban-distributed AEI label. Though noteworthy as trailblazers, the Hard Boys couldnt translate their shocking-for-the-time novelty into national sales and fell into obscurity soon thereafter.
