Laryss is the fresh face of positive pop. This talented vocalist with model looks and catalog experience is aiming to engage audiences of all ages with her brand of energetic, uplifting music.\n \n“Anyone can be a one hit radio wonder, but it takes a true artist to carve her own durable lane in today’s music industry,” Laryss said. “For me, it’s all about the emotionally moving power of music. This isn’t a path I chose to just get rich and famous.”\n \nLaryss has been expressing herself through music for as long as she can remember. Even as early as 4 years old you could find her singing Barney songs to passerby’s in the grocery store and a few years later getting kicked out of a grade school class because her natural instinct to sing while she worked didn’t agree with the ideal silent school environment..\n \n“I can’t help but feel like this talent and passion was implanted in my heart and that my destiny is to share it with others,” Laryss said.\n \nAfter graduating high school with Cum Laude honors in Houston, Texas, Laryss could have elected to attend any one of a number of high­profile universities. She was also accepted into the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, one of the top schools for that craft in the nation, but instead decided to follow her life long dream of being a role model performing and recording artist.\n \nHer influences include pop stars like Demi Lovato, Rihanna, and Lana Del Rey– artists she admires for their complete packages of musical talents, trend­setting fashion choices, and overall cultural influence.\n \nOutside of music, Laryss also finds time to give back to her community through philanthropic efforts like Feed a Friend, the Houston Food Bank, Invisible Children, and the Smile Train.\n \nIf you’re looking for the future of urban­tinged, progressive pop music ­ just remember the name Laryss.
