Los Cinco Latinos became their side project, making their live debut on May 22, 1957. Two years later and after achieving a top-selling status, this group of talented Latin musicians started touring around Latin America, even having the opportunity to play along with the Platters.\nIn 1964, Los Cinco Latinos successfully performed their classic "Balada de la Trompeta" on the Ed Sullivan Show, reaching millions of TV viewers around the U.S. Nevertheless, in the late '60s, Estela Raval decided to pursue a solo career being the cause of their breakup on February 22, 1970.\nIn 1982, the original group reunited as Estela Raval y Los 5 Latinos touring worldwide once again.
