She was born and raised in Oslo, where she lived with her parents and two older sisters. Her mother was a jazz singer, one sister plays the saxophone and is a conductor and three of her uncles are composers \u002F musicians. Her grandparents on both sides have played piano \u002F guitar \u002F accordion.
