The band was formed in 1933 as Munn and Feltons Works Band, which later became known as the GUS Footwear Band, based in Kettering. The band has continued under many changes in sponsorship and is today sponsored by instrument retailer Virtuosi, based in Northampton. The sponsors provide a base and rehearsal facility for the band at Moulton Park Business Centre. \r\n\r\n
