Congratulations are in order to Pollaponk, the rock band of Disney-Pixar’s dreams, who have won the Icelandic national selection with Enga fordóma (No Prejudice). The band was created by two teachers who wanted to sing sweet sweet family friendly tunes and, apparently, take a leaf from the Teletubbie’s colour-coding book at the same time.\r\nEurovision is certainly a competition that appeals to all ages – but will Pollaponk’s approach be able to pluck Iceland out of an unfortunate streak of finishing outside the top ten or not qualifying at all for the past ten years (except that one time in 2009)
