The Lacs is an American musical duo which performs country rap and Southern rock. The duo is composed of Clay "Uncle Snap" Sharpe and Brian "Rooster" King. Their name is short for "Loud A** Crackers".\n\nThe Lacs has recorded three albums for Backroad Records, a subsidiary of Average Joe's Entertainment, an independent label co-owned by fellow country rap artist Colt Ford. Their second Backroad Records album, 190 Proof, entered the Billboard charts in April 2012.
