Formed in 2008 as a solo venture for musician and songwriter Carl, H.O.L.E’s debut album “I Am Liberated” was released in November 2009. The album attracted a flurry of positive underground and internet interest, and was championed by Tom Robinson on his BBC6 Music radio show. The one man band also contributed tracks to the stupidly hard to find compilations Uncovered Tracks (December 2008), Home Volume 1 (March 2010) and R2 Magazine's Un-Herd Volume 20 (April 2010).
