简介:
美国Doom Metal乐队,组建于2009年,已于2014年4月解散。\nPrimeval Realm was created by Joe Potash in June of 2009. Potash had always wanted to form a band in which he was the only guitarist, so doom metal seemed to be the best choice. Unfortunately with the lack of musicians into doom in the area, he decided to record a few demos by himself. In 2010 the band underwent some lineup changes, having parted ways with vocalist Rich McCoy (Faust, Coffin) and bassist Kayt Vigil (ex-Pentagram, ex-Hounds Of Hasselvander) due to a move out to Los Angeles with Scott "Wino" Weinrich. With the recruitment of Dan Barlekamp on drums and Jon Norberg on bass, the trio was ready to play live. They were asked to open for Helstar on back to back dates and Faith Or Fear in June of 2011. In 2012 the power-trio continued to play shows in the NJ\u002F PA\u002F NY area. 2013 saw a new lineup for the band with Mike White on drums, Reed Thomas on bass, and Brian Leahy on keyboards. The band went into the studio to record their debut full length record entitled "Primordial Light". Then they inked a three album, five year, worldwide deal with German label Pure Steel Records. On bass, Greg Bacsik and on drums, Steve Sabo soon joined the band for live shows. A music video was filmed for "Heavy Is This Mind" in January of 2014. Shortly after, Joe Ricci took over for live drums. Primeval Realm released their debut record on Friday, March 14th, 2014, with the record release show at the historic Trocadero Theatre in downtown Philly on the same day! Then, the band finally called it quits in April of 2014. Potash has since formed a blues rock band called JLP Project.\n成员:\nJoe Potash\n- Guitars, Bass, Drums, Keyboards, Vocals (2009-2014)\nReed Thomas - Bass, Vocals (backing) (2013-2014)\nMike White\n- Drums, Percussion (2013-2014)\nBrian Leahy - Keyboards (2013-2014)
