The band was born in mid-2001, through the informal meeting between the philosopher and writer Mauricio Pardo (payola) and Denilson New communicologist and guitarist (denivino) who composed songs in barbecues weekends as a fun between friends. \r\nThe partnership soon became a spontaneous labor and soon attracted the attention of musicians and friends who have come to admire and attend the meetings such. \r\n\r\nIn 2006, the group finally debut on Amazon music scene in a presentation at Chimney Theatre in Manaus. Training were in Clovis Rodrigues (dog), Mauricio Pardo (payola) and Carol Queiroz on vocals, Denilson New on guitar, Daniel Valentine on bass, Ricardo Mota on percussion and Luis Campos on drums. \r\n\r\nSince then, the shows and presentations have intensified, and in 2007, The Tucumanus released their first CD, independent production entitled "Experimental Regional". Were sold over a thousand copies and the record eventually led the group to conquer new spaces in the media, venues, events, and serve as critical for selective projects and festivals of music play. \r\n\r\nIn less than two years of activities The Tucumanus had already presented the main holiday concerts in Manaus, were selected for the "Second Stage in" design, the Secretary of Culture of the State of Amazonas, which led the group to perform on stage at the Teatro Amazonas and recording the song "the Mouth of caboca" on the compilation album project in 2007.
