小简介\nWinterpills are an indie rock band of the 2000s from Northampton, MA, USA. Its members are Philip Price (musician), Flora Reed, Dave Hower and Dennis Crommett. They are also joined on tour sometimes by José Ayerve, Brian Akey and Henning Ohlenbusch. They released their debut eponymous album in November 2005 on Signature Sounds.\nThe band formed in the winter of 2003-2004 and began playing out regionally (New England) in the spring of 2004. Playing the melancholy songs of Philip Price, the band’s characteristic sound is a combination of fragile and melancholy acoustic folk-pop, with vital male-female harmonies (Price and Reed), filled out with the distinctive edginess of Crommett’s washy-watercolor electric guitar and Hower’s tense drumming.\nTheir debut album received high praise by the Washington Post, No Depression, The Utne Reader, the Boston Globe, and they have shared the stage with such notable artists as The Mountain Goats, Erin McKeown, Fountains of Wayne, Alejandro Escovedo, Rainer Maria, Martha Wainwright, Shawn Colvin among others. In the winter of 2005-2006 while touring extensively the band played Mountain Stage on NPR, and were featured on NPR’s Weekend Edition and World Café, and XM Radio’s Loft Sessions.\nThe band released their sophomore album, entitled The Light Divides on February 27, 2007.\n    Element.observe("wikiReadMore", "click", function (event) {\n                        if (Element.hasClassName("wikiSecondPart", "wiki_continued")) {\n                            Event.stop(event);\n                                                        Element.removeClassName("wikiSecondPart", "wiki_continued");\n                                                        Element.remove("wikiReadMore");\n                                                    }\n    });\nWinterpills是2003年成立与英国曼彻斯特北安普顿的4人组合,成员分别为Dennis Crommett (guitar), Dave Hower (drums), Philip Price (vocals\u002Fguitar), and Flora Reed (vocals\u002Fkeyboards).
