“My father is a preacher; my mother raised 8 children – she’s the strongest woman I know….she says I’m just like my father…”\nMarshall Dane is known for consistently delivering an energetic, boot stomping performance that draws in crowds of all ages.\nOver the past year, he has performed with Alan Jackson, Doc Walker, Emerson Drive, Michelle Wright and Jim Cuddy, toured with Gord Bamford and Aaron Pritchett, and appeared at multiple festivals and fairs.\nAlways taking time to help those he can, Marshall has given his time to Habitat For Humanity, The Fight To Conquer Breast Cancer, FoodPath, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Music Not Mischief (an initiative steered by Toronto Polices Services). He tours annually throughout the Canadian Arctic, bringing his soulful music to the native Inuit communities.\nIn September 2011, Marshall Dane was one of only 8 artists to be selected from a national horde of national applicants for the Canadian Country Music Awards “New Artist” Showcase. Radio has embraced four of Marshall’s single releases and Country Music News named his album “Running Stop Signs” as the #11 Canadian Country Album of 2011.
