Mexican four-piece band Resorte burst into the local scene standing out strongly as one of the leading acts of the late '90s. Performing a funk-metal style similar to major international acts such as Korn, Disturbed, and Papa Roach, the band released Rep鷅lica de Ciegos in 1999, later performing successfully at Bogota's Festival Rock al Parque. The following year, Resorte moved to Los Angeles, CA, to work with producer Jason Roberts.
