Taking their sweet time, the band would issue five demos in the next five years before recording two albums, 1996's For We...Who Are Consumed by Darkness and 1998's Requiem to the Death of Passion. Akhenaten then relocated to Germany, and Sarcophagus was indefinitely placed "on ice."
