Channeling Joan Jett and the early Stones spending the night together in a Tarantino movie, Miss Quincy doesnt fit the classic girl singer\u002Fsongwriter mold and The Showdown isnt your average all-girl band. You won’t find them singing pretty pages out of their diaries, instead you’ll find them starting a party everywhere they play by getting down and rocking out with raunchy roots & blues and straight up rock n roll. Miss Quincy & The Showdown currently call the road their home. In 2012 they hit the highway hard for an 8 month world tour spanning 7 countries. They spent the winter writing Miss Quincys 3rd record in Mexico, the spring road-testing the new songs on their 4th European tour, and will record the new album in Vancouver before festivalling the summer away across Canada
