Lost Horizon——消失的地平线，来自金属王国瑞典的力量金属乐队。至今乐队已经发行了两张成功的专辑，分别是2001年的《Awakening the World》和2003年的《A Flame to the Ground Beneath》。技术、速度和激情，Lost Horizon将真正的Power Metal带给了金属乐迷，同时，他们非常具有特色的主唱Daniel Heiman的超级高音，让人难以忘怀，有d#4的表现。 "No Fate.Only The Power Of Will"——“金属不仅仅是一种音乐形式和传达信息的语言，对于我们来说，除了它是我们为之努力的职业外，同时它也是我们实现某种价值的途径！我们不相信上帝，不相信命运，我们相信自己的理想和作为，我们有解决问题的方法和办法，我们视金属为我们浪漫生活的一部分，视金属为我们生活的真实动力和信仰！”----- Lost Horizon乐队这样阐述他们对金属乐的理解。 目前，乐队主唱Daniel Heiman已经退出，自组乐队HEED并发行了一张专辑和一张EP，而后宣布解散。而Lost Horizon一直在为寻觅他们新的主唱而努力。\nby  Andy Kellman\nMetal band Lost Horizon took shape during the late '90s and early 2000s. A CD of demos landed the group -- featuring vocalist Daniel Heiman, drummer Christian Nyquist, guitarist Wojtek Lisicki, and bassist Martin Furängen -- on the Music for Nations label; their debut album, Awakening the World, was out by the end of May 2001. During the time between that album's release and the follow-up, 2003's A Flame to the Ground Beneath, Lost Horizon became a six-piece unit with the addition of two new members (keyboardist Attila Publik, guitarist Fredrik Olsson) -- or warriors, as they like to refer to themselves. They were able to sustain a major bus accident just weeks prior to the release of the album, and continued to tour in support of it.
