A Heavy Metal band from Western Sydney, aiming to give the metal scene a wake up call. It's time to bring it back to heavy grooves and powerful music.\n2008 saw a revolution in the Australian metal scene, Tensions Arise arrived. Born from the ashes of prominent local band, Sezure, vocalist Kazzy Kage took it upon his own shoulders to breathe new life into a declining industry.\nAlong with bassist, Seraph, Kage and Tensions Arise began reconstituting Australian metal, by bringing the style back to its original roots. During the course of 2008 and 2009, Tensions Arise brought a dying metal scene back to its former glory, by incorporating everything that makes classic metal stand-alone from any other genre.\nWith their groove induced melodic cruelty, the Sydney based five-piece built a sound of their own which quickly distinguished them as forerunners in their home city. After a lengthy wait, the mystery of Tensions Arise came to extreme fruition as the inaugural performance in January 2010 brought a torn industry together in a rage of hoarse growls, thunderous guitars, wrapped together by a previously unexperienced stage presence. Fast forward 18 months and the crowds are flocking in excess to see Sydney’s most prominent metal quintet all over the city.\nAs 2011 draws to a close, Tensions Arise are looking to continue making a name for themselves with a strong work ethic and relentless touring. Their brand new album “Stand In Defiance” was recorded in USA with Logan Mader (ex Machine Head) who has worked with bands who dominate the genre such as Devildriver, Five Finger Death Punch, Cavalera Conspiracy, Divine Heresy, Periphery & more recently Fear Factory on "The Industrialist". Tensions Arise is a band about putting on the best performance they can, by doing what they love, hoping their music will move the crowd into the right direction with their positive influences. They hope to take their journey as far as they can. Music is about passion, and they live for making music their passion.\nThey’ve supported acts in the past such as Jeffrey Nothing of Mushroomhead and Hed Pe.\nWith their recent album “Stand In Defiance” currently circulating around the world, Tensions Arise is in the midst of grabbing the attention of any listener of metal\u002Fhardcore music.
