Christopher Gilbert "Chris" Pérez (born August 14, 1969) is an American guitarist and the widower of "The Queen of Tejano music" Selena.[1] He is currently a guitarist for his band, Chris Pérez Project. Prior to that, Pérez was the lead guitarist for his wife's band Selena y Los Dinos from 1989 to 1995 and A.B. Quintanilla III y Los Kumbia Kings from 2003 to 2006
