Founded only two years ago, in May 2011, Stuttgart-based post hardcore quintet ALIENS ATE MY SETLIST have proven to be taken serious - even though their bandname - as terrific, hilarious and catchy it is at the same time - might not suggest so. With a stage presence bar none, highly remarkable electro parts, crushing breaks and simply godlike vocal lines, AAMS have set the bar pretty high for any young band in the genre.\n \nBeing all about taking fate into their own hands, the five-piece keeps the DIY spirit alive - booking, graphics, video editing, promotion, you name it - AAMS did it themselves. During their still pretty short career AAMS can look back on dozens of highly successful shows with the likes of OH, SLEEPER, TEXAS IN JULY or EYES SET TO KILL as well as crowded, sweaty and energetic headlining gigs. Having sold around 1000 copies of their first EP, "Illusions", released back in spring 2012, marked a first milestone for the ambitious band, receiving raving reviews from all over Europe.\n \nEnter 2013, AAMS have matured both musically as well as in terms of their ever-strong work ethic - shows until late this year are being booked, the rehearsal place is their home more than ever and some more studio time is planned on being spent as well. With their new songs, "Silver Sea of Light" (for which they shot an amazing story video just recently, "Welcome to War" and "Worlds Beyond" (featuring American electro pop hopeful Allistair), AAMS have taken their unique and hook-laden sound to a whole new level. Being most powerfully mixed by Daniele Nelli, singer and producer for Italys biggest post hardcore export, TASTERS, these three new songs will crush anyone into heavy modern music in the vein of bands like ATTACK ATTACK!, ESKIMO CALLBOY, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA or OF MICE & MEN - whether it be the tough guys from around the corner or the scene‘s sweetest young ladies. Watch out: 2013‘s the year of ALIENS ATE MY SETLIST!\n \nNick Mingrone (vocals)\nJerry Keys (guitar)\nHans Thrum (bass)\nDavid Matthäus (guitar\u002Fvocals)\nJakob Johannsen (drums)
