Born in Saratoga to a classical pianist father from Azerbaijan, Quinn’s childhood was steeped in the diverse flavors of both Middle Eastern and western classical music. \r\n\r\nQuinn began work on her debut opus, Lost Children, while studying music at UC Davis. Skilled at drawing and painting, she also created the artwork for the album. The songs of Lost Children are cathartic, poetic snapshots exploring themes of self-worth, death, sexuality, transformation and heartbreak.\r\n\r\nShe is currently playing with percussionist Beth Wiesendanger and cellist Natasha Littlewood. Together, the trio brings to life acoustic versions of Quinn's music.
