In 1957, Jean Nohain hired him for his first contract as a vibraphonist on tour with Sim and the trio Raisner. \r\nIn 1958, Daniel Janin was hired as musical arranger and began attending recording studios. \r\nIn September 1961, after seeing the Olympia with his "big band" of seventeen young professional musicians, Bruno Merrick hired for three weeks devoted to Johnny Hallyday. \r\nDaniel Janin ultimately remains three years with his orchestra in Merrick, where he accompanied several national and international artists: Jacques Brel, Gilbert Becaud, Dalida, Marlene Dietrich. In 1964 he played in the first part at the Olympia where The Beatles occur in the second part
