Founded by Paul Karaffa in 2007, Darkest Path is a symphonic black metal \u002F melodic death metal solo project out of Hawaii. \nMusically, Darkest Path is epic, filled with the sounds of war that mark both external and internal struggles, making you feel like you are on a battlefield. From soft piano to insanely-fast and brutal guitars, the large range of sounds and instruments deliver a powerful emotional experience to the listener. Lyrically, and as the band's name would suggest, Darkest Path explores the darker side of the human condition, primarily religion, faith, and passivity. \nMusical inspiration for the project comes from artists such as Gorgoroth, Vital Remains, Anorexia Nervosa, Kataklysm, Emperor, and many others.
