Kassidy are a Scottish alternative folk rock band. The band consists of Barrie-James O'Neill (vocals, guitar), Hamish Fingland (vocals, guitar), Lewis Andrew (vocals, guitar, accordion, keyboard), and Chris Potter (vocals, guitar). The band was formed in late 2009 in Glasgow.\nThe quartet met through friends' bands and fortunate pub encounters. They gained popularity in early 2010, having performed in local concerts and later expanded to perform to larger audiences at major festivals such as Glastonbury and T in the Park.\nKassidy began writing and recording their music in a share house, which they later converted to a personal studio. They released three EP's, the second entitled The Rubbergum EP Volume 2 on 16 August 2010.\nTo follow their EPs, Kassidy released their debut album, Hope St. on 23 May 2011.
