Peter was born in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and is the second \nyoungest of six boys. His first introduction to music was witnessing \ntwo of his elder brothers jamming to Glam rock covers with home \nmade polystyrene guitars. Soon enough the polystyrene guitars \nbecame real and the second eldest brother Terrey, who had just \nfinished the first European tour with The Rolling Stones as lighting \nmanager, took an interest and recorded an album at home with his \ntwo younger brothers. Peter, being artistic and painting from a very \nearly age, and after watching his brothers endeavors, saw that he \nwould be able to express himself in a different way, through music. \nPeter picked up the acoustic guitar and jammed along to his brothers \nmusic, then moved onto bass guitar finally finding his forte. \nPeter found an expression for his grief at losing his parents at an early \nage firstly through the anger of punk, and then through the passion\nof rock. Studying bass guitar and musical theory at Basstech in \nActon enabled Peter to enhance his natural talent and improve his \nchances as a gigging musician. \nHis first big break was playing bass guitar with the original members \nof Thin Lizzy at a Phil Lynnot tribute gig. This was the springboard for \nPeter to tour the UK and Europe in various different bands. \nWhile all this was happening, Peter found time to hone his songwriting \nand production skills to enable him to write a spoken word album with \nTed Golder, an American associate, and form the band, The Spoken \nX. His first solo venture was to pen Stepping Up, which he self released.. \nPeter’s new venture is in the form of a chanting album called Anahata.\nThis album is based on his awakening to the spiritual side of life in a \nbigger way. The tunes are based on the notes of the chakra’s and more\ninformation can be found on the Anahata pages of this site.\nPeter believes that this earth will become a better place for all humans\nand animals to live on, and the that humanity will find peace with itself\nand with the planet. Peter’s penning of Anahata is his attempt to help us\nall achieve this and has used it both for relaxation and meditation \npurposes. He hopes you will have a positive experience of your\nown through his music.
