Born Marques Phillips, 7evenThirty was turned onto hip-hop in his hometown of Jackson, MS by his close friend and producer 5-D (Keith Govan) and his god sister in the early 90s. 7evenThirty has worked diligently at developing his own sound, a sound he describes as “Hardcore Space Gangsta Music.”
