Horrific Child is a French band led by Jean-Pierre Massiera, who was also the founder of Maledictus Sound (which could be considered Proto-Progressive or Eclectic). They only released one album named L?étrange Mr. Whinster. It is a strange album, full of weirdness, surprises and originality too. Interestingly, there is a notice on the album cover that says ?not recommended to sensible people?, so if you can deal with some experimental, spacey horror soundtrack, this is probably a good pick for you. The lyrics in this album are particularly dark; one could even find them disgusting. I have read a text somewhere that described that as paranoid-poetry. I think it is a good description for them.
