With a vast complement of instruments including but not limited to violin, cello, accordion, mandolin, brass and banjo, their sound has a rich melodic quality, carrying an epic sense of energy yet just as easily drifts into lyrical and sombre simplicity. Formed in late 2011, they spent the latter part of 2013 touring the independent festival circuit, playing nationwide at festivals including Green Man, LeeFest, Standon Calling, London FolkFest and sharing stages with artists including Johnny Flynn, Matthew and The Atlas, Turin Breaks and The Noisettes.
