Renz Verano released his debut album, Renz Verano, in 1995, and each of the album's ten songs is a ballad. Verano has a fine voice, and sings in a sincere, passionate manner. Six of the album's ten songs are adaptations of international songs, but contain new lyrics written in Tagalog, the Philippines' national language. Filipinos are quite fond of American\u002FEuropean music, and remakes of this type are popular, if not very original.
